Broadway Tower at the top of one of the many delightful Cotswold Hills The Cotswolds by Reardon Publishing (the Cotswold Publisher) for information on exploring the cotswold hills along with the history and folklore of the Cotswold area. THE COTSWOLDS The Cotswolds, with their beauty supreme,A rambler's pleasure, an artist's dream. Within these undulating hills abound. Enjoyment for all, in sight and sound. Tall trees give a proud and noble scene, Whilst the fields show a calm and placid green. The dawns and sunsets give colourful thrills. When viewed from the tops of these glorious hills. Ancient buildings and monuments are to be found. In towns whose names have a very quaint sound. And streams and rivers wend their musical way. Past banks, with wild flowers, both colourful and gay. In winter, the hills appear harsh and foreboding. In their white coats of snow and caps of grey clouding. From the strong, icy winds, there is little respite. Howling and whistling by day and by night. Cotswold beauty survives winter without coming to harm. And returns in the new spring with added charm.
